He married (2) IDA ELLISON 1834, daughter of WILLIAM ELLISON and NANCY BOWEN. She was born 03 May 1818 in Whitely co. KY, and died 12 Mar 1887 in Whitely co. KY.

The following is taken from the book The Creemore Family by Helen Sigler Smith:
"Green Berry Creekmore, being very ill health and unable to support himself after Ida's death, filed for a pension on behalf of his son Andrew's service and death in the Civil WAr. He was awarded $12.00 per month, beginning 17, March 1888, however he was dropped fro the pension roll on 5 SEp. 1895 for failure to claim it. By this time, he was deceased. The pension file reveals some of the information which was used to file his claim for property loss. In an affidavit he states that the Confederate Soldiers robbed his house and destroyed most of his papers, one a letter from Andrew containing an unspecified amount of money.."

"An affidavit from Dr. Lafayette Sprout of Whitely co. KY gives his physical condition as having a crippled right hand and having had erysipalas, resulting in damage to the right eye."

Emby married Sarah about 1910. She was born about 1843 in MO.

August 1999-Creekmore Reunion, Williamsburg, KY.
Edith Siler Quinn said her mother told her the story that when the wife of Emby K. died he made a trip to Whitley Co., KY. He told htme that he had just lost a good wife and was there to find another one. Edith's grandmother (Nancy Ellen Creekmore Cox) introduced Emby K. to Mary Dickerson and they married and left for AR where Emby had been living. After the death of Emby K., Mary returned to Whitley Co., KY where her family lived and is buried in the Siler/Osburne Cemetery where Elizabeth, the mother of Mary Dickerson is buried.

Notes for THOMAS B. CREEKMORE:
According to a story from Claude Cox, Thomas Creekmore and STephen Cox, the brother of his wife Dialtha went into the Timber business together in Little Rock Ark. Thomas B. was found by the side of an old country road shot in the back. His son, Green Creekmore always said, "People will kill for a dollar, They killed my daddy for a dollar.". The Arkansas authorities never tried to find the kiillers. Dialtha and Steven returned to Whitley Co. KY it is believed that Thomas was shot to get the money from the sale of Timber, but Stehen had the money.

After Thomas B. was killed Dialtha married John A. Cox on 4-1-1880
