If anyone knows how to contact the children of Sophia Kiewlich-Steinhauser-Petrosky please either tell them to contact me or let me know how to contact them. They are listed in the obit for Joseph Petrosky, Jr. I had contacted Sophia shortly before she died and she had told me she had pictures and documents that belonged to my father Ray. She had planned on sending what she had to me. I'm hoping her children still have them along with pictures of my grandfather or great grandfather.

Notes for JOSEPH ANTHONY PETROSKY:
According to census records and ellis island records the spelling of Petrosky
was Petrowski. Joseph either came over in 1901 or 1905, I believe it was the
1901 record of him coming over on the Neckar departing from Bremen Germany
as that is the same departure of Veronika a few years later. The census says
1903 but I can't find him in that year. The age more matches on the 1901 record.

Joseph Petrosky Sr. is buried at Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale CA as is his daughter Ann Lindstrom Thompson
Notes for VERONICA DRAGUNAS:
Veronica Dragunas was what the family thought her name was, but according
to census records and ellis island records the spelling was Veronika Dragunaitis.
She came to the U.S. on June 12, 1911 on the Kronpinz Frederich Wilhem departing
from Bremen Germany. Her destination was Detroit MI.
Records at this point indicate that she already knew Joseph and that is where she was headed as Anna was born about a year after she came to the U.S.
Her and Joseph both were naturalized in 1911 she did not read or write according
to the 1920 census.

in Detroit, Wayne co, MI, and died June 12,1982 in San Diego, CA. He married
LAURA HELEN LANE, daughter of JOHN LANE and PEARL COX. She was born June 11,
1915 in Dillon, Beaverhead co, Montana, and died September 22, 1960 in San
Diego, CA.

Do have pictures of the headstones, and have learned that Sophia's inscription is on the back of Joseph's stone.
I was unable to find a birth certificate for Joseph in MI, but have learned it may have been spelled Petrowski and am refilling for the bc.

Angeles, CA; m. (1) LINDSTROM; m. (2) UNKNOWN THOMPSON.
Notes for ANN PETROSKY:
According to Ellis Island Records, and census records, Anna's birthdate may
have been 1912 instead of 1911. Her bdate in the ssi death index is 1911,
but would be almost impossible if Veronika did not arrive in the U.S. until
June of 1911.
So there is a date that is either wrong or Ann did not belong to Joseph Sr.
as they had not seen eachother for almost 5 years when Veronica came to the
states. .

Notes for RAYMOND PETROSKY:
Raymond was adopted, I am working on his birth family now. Surnames consist
of Curtis, Perkins, Simon,
and more. We have been lucky enough to find his birth mother and another sister
that was also adopted, along with a daughter of his that was adopted. All
have been great reunions.
Raymond actually had 5 wifes total plus one partner. I do not at this time
know the names of all his wifes. All I know is one was so short lived it was
annulled and he had 5 skulls tattooed on his arm to signify each wife. He
was also the President of the Seattle Bandidos motorcycle club. My memorial
